Are you like me? Apart of a vibrant, smart community of individuals who have tons of ideas rolling around in their heads but haven't had the forum to get them out?

Well, it's finally coming to reality here in Memphis. LaunchMemphis is kicking the doors down and opening up the path to endless possibilities. I'm thoroughly impressed and excited with the efforts so far and the series of upcoming events that will drive this path towards more successful startups here in town. Eric and his team at LaunchMemphis are off to a fast start. Check out the coming events to participate!

I'm soooo intrigued.

Kenny this is for you....

Dear Zack Perry,

My name is Holbert Hu a legal practitioner with H.Hu & Associates in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia.

I found your contact/profile some where over the internet and it gave me the greatest joy, that you are the one I have been looking for.Whom I strongly believe could execute this transaction with me.And being more positive that with your capability, that this transaction of transferring US$18,000,000.00 will be successfully accomplished.

My purpose of contacting you is for you to help secure the funds left behind by my late client,to avoid it being confiscated or declared unserviceable by the Finance House.Where this fund valued (US$18,000,000.00) Eighteen Million United State Dollars deposited by my client before his death in November 2004.

You might be wondering why am I communicating with you, believe it or not it is simply because you and my late client have the same surname.Though this is coincidental,I strongly believe, you could help me in the task which is the distribution of my late client's funds.

And the said funds in the Finance House is considered "UNSERVICEABLE"after my client passed away as there were no indication of next of kin whatsoever that the Institution could consider as a beneficiary for the said funds.

Being my late client's legal adviser, the Institution notified my office, that I need to produce and to contact the next of kin of my deceased client,to either "REACTIVATE" the account or to "MAKE CLAIMS" of the said funds which is carrying a monthly surcharge.

Now,my intention is purely to seek your consent to kindly present you as the legal next of kin/beneficiary to my late client's funds. This would mean that the proceeds of the said funds would be released to you. After the release of the funds to you,we shall then share it mutual, which will be 70% to me and 30% to you.

My office would provide documents to back up your claim. The most important thing I need is your honest/sincere cooperation in this task. And I assure you that this transaction will be legally executed according to the dictates of the law, which will protect you from any infraction of the law.

However,if this business proposition offends your moral ethics,do accept my sincere apology. If on the contrary you wish to achieve this goal with me,kindly get back to me with your interest immediately for further details.

Best regards,

Mr.Holbert Hu

Give me the sun

Day one of freedom and i'm already stressing myself out. Why is it people can't be still for a time and relax? Immediately i'm looking at the fall school schedule, figuring out my current project load, stressing out about my ideas that I need to devote some time to for potential funding, scenario planning, thinking about what I want to learn this summer, etc. I hate my head some times.

The step and the walk

I love the spirit of Earth Day and the awareness it brings to the minds of us common'rs. BUT I've found out Earth Day is also let loose day as it brings the circus to the big city. So the circus apparently came to town on Sunday afternoon in midtown. Circus, ey? Yes, carnies, circus folks. small hands.

After 4+ hours of school work in a 4x4 cell I like to call the study rooms at the Library I decided I'd had enough. As I told the establishment what they can do with their educationisms I took off on the old skool bicycle cruiser ballin' through midtown with gang signs flashin and gold teeth shining. The wind felt awesome and flowed through my shirt like I was in a video shoot with Puff Daddy.

I found myself dropping the switches on the cruiser so I was barely off the ground and bouncin. Dr. Dre would be proud.

So the park was packed awesome! Love to see Memphians taking advantage of the great parks we have in this city....but wait I told myself. Check out these people, as the body odor formed a cloud of awesomeness. As I cruised around I started noticing these people look like circus folks. Lots of full body tattoos, mullets, mandals, j'orts, way too much skin to accompany those fat rolls, etc., etc., etc. While I would have loved to stay and practice my diction of "hey mannnnnnn", "brahhhhhhhhhh" and "dooooooood" I decided to move on around the park as I knew these carnies had to be either from Arkansas or from outside Shelby County. I kept checking out plates on cars.....and I was correct the majority of the time.

Now we're talking. I stumped upon a DJ booth and low and behold I came across Jason Castro's, American Idol fame, brother who was in full tilt and dancing like a total chick. I was totally amused as he danced with himself and his quilt skirt pants. Yes quilt skirt pants. There had to be at least a couple of yards of material in those things. He was a classic that made me laugh. I love individuality.

Needless to say. I welcome you outer regional folks but I'm still going to giggle. Peas.

Tick Tock Ya Don't Stop!

I'm so dissappointed 12 inches of snow didn't make the list of the worst rappers ever.

Swans, life after death

Maybe one of the most interesting websites I've seen this week. This home slaw offers up things I'll do for you...for a price. It's pretty funny.

Hot diggity

Today Six Apart launched a way to integrate your blaggg into a social network. What that means is now I can update my so out of day blog via facebook. This might actually get me back into blaaaagging.

I'm not sure if its social blaggging fatigue I've dealt with or just I'm so busy I can't think about enjoyable things besides school, work, and business ideas. But I'm all for turning things around now that school is less than 2 wks away from finally being over. I need a major day of sitting around drinking some beers!

A well respected man

I've become a slave to life so sorry for no posts in a freaking long time.

I've been in idea development mode but was thinking today.  What is one thing I'd love to do and get paid handsomely for it?  Probably sitting around listening to music and wiggling to jams.
